Westside Cafe has good comfort food and tasting great! Always busy which is a testament to how good it is! Service is excellent! Give it a go

Stopped by for breakfast this morning and had one of the best home style breakfasts I've had since I was a kid. The location reminded me of a place my grandparents took me to as a kid. The prices are beyond reasonable and the food is incredible. The entire staff were extremely friendly and accommodating. Also they had dairy free powder creamer packets which was extremely surprising but also delicious. My only regret was not snagging a piece of pie for later when leaving but I did take a fresh baked chocolate chip cookie... which is bigger than my hand and super soft. I will absolutely come back!

Great food and staff are very friendly! Love that they honor veterans. The breakfast is fabulous. No wonder they have a huge crowd on Sundays!

The pina colada cake is to die for! The servers are sooo sweet. Get the oatmeal cake with some butter.

I have lived in the Fort Worth area for over 15 years. Not sure why we have never been to West Side Cafe before now. We have really missed out not coming sooner. On entering the restaurant you are greeted with a wall of pictures honoring those who have served in the military. What a nice tribute. It appears the restaurant interior has recently gone through a remodel. The new look is modern and inviting. Everyone working was warm and friendly. I immediately liked the place. The food was excellent. My husband had the chicken fried steak and eggs breakfast. Cooked perfectly. I wasn't in the mood for breakfast and asked if I could get the "Big Ol' Bowl of Pinto Beans" and cornbread. Definitely big and really delicious. Most lunch items are not available until 10:45, but if you ask, some items are available earlier. I also asked for a side of fruit. This is not on their menu as it is a new addition. Surprisingly nice mix of fresh fruit all with good flavor. When in need of a great meal, nice atmosphere, and friendly people, West Side Cafe is a great option.

This is a cute cafe on the west side of Fort Worth. The parking is decent since it is in a shopping center. This place looks like it was built back in the 70s, but it is very spacious. They serve brunch and lunch, and everything that we saw looked great, and everything we ate was delicious. When we walked in, we were greeted. Make sure if you are meeting someone there, they are on time because they won't seat you until your whole party is there. As we were shown to our table all the staff spoke and welcomed us and even some of the regular customers said hello. Our waitress came and got our drink orders and answered our questions about the menu. I got the pancakes, they are huge and tasty. The syrup was watery to me, and the pancakes soaked them up, but once I added enough, I got some in every bite. I got the hashbrowns. They had lots of butter in them, probably why they tasted so good. I also got a side of bacon, and you get 4 pieces, so you will be full when you leave, but you will have some money left in your pocket because the prices were very reasonable. Go check them out!

It was Saturday morning and there were no cartoons to watch. Lol. My neighbor wanted a good breakfast from this place and I've have not been for breakfast so, I decided to go with him. I drove into the Parking lot and it was already packed. I walked in and there was already a crowd waiting for there table. Also, you cannot reserve a table if you party is unavailable. We were seated very quickly despite the crowd. We had a great waitress. She wore a Pink West Side Tshirt. She said, a girl that used to work there made them. She said, she loved it because, she didn't have to wear so much Black and White. She was so nice, after she delivered are food, she said, " Can I get y'all anything else?" in a cute Texas accent. She was on top of her game. She always came to our table to check on drinks. I ordered a Biscuit and gravy . I added a piece of Sausage. My biscuit was Fluffy, soft and fell apart quickly. Gravy was warm with lots of Black Pepper. The Sausage was piping hot and small. Overall, it was a humble breakfast. In Conclusion, the breakfast was something you can make yourself but, the service was spectacular! You will have to see for yourself when you eat here.
